Joy's Rumpleteazer
In 2008 I was asked by my long-time internet friend Joy to make some parts of a Rumpleteazer costume for her. I did not make the unitard (that was done by Lady Jemima), but I knit the warmers, made the tail and the wig. The wig was my second glue/hand tie hybrid and I'm really happy with how it turned out, even with the mistake in measuring which resulted in it being a tad too small.
Puck
Puck first came about in 2003 when I was in the mood to sketch but she didn't get a name until 2010 when I decided to finally make her. I really tried to push myself on her costume, making the unitard from scratch, painting for the first time, making all the knitting and yarn bits as well as completely hand tying the wig. A lot of time has gone into her and I'm really glad at the outcome, considering she is my first proper Cats costume.
Corly Cam
Corly is a jester character I made up one year. Everything was made by me except for the shoes and crown frame. Her stockings were the first socks I ever knit and I taught myself how to tablet weave so I could make the garters. The chemise is made from a bed sheet and the rest of the fabric is from table cloths I got on clearance from Target.
Ryan's Pirate
This costume was made over two years. The first year I made the majority of it, staying up until 4am one day to finish sewing on all the buttons. The next year I made him the coat, although it was extremely rainy that day and I wasn't able to get a good picture. The first image is one Ryan took himself.
